PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Work with inventory management, receiving, and material handling functions to ensure the timely and accurate transactional data entry for all material receipts and warehouse material moves. Support the optimization of warehouse stock locations and space utilization including the implementation of a smart warehouse identification system.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous inventory or receiving/ shipping experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proven computer skills especially with MS Office applications and accurate data entry
- Experience using inventory management software programs preferred
- Some secondary education preferred
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with receiving department personnel to ensure the accurate and timely disposition of material and completion of ERP system transactions
- Assist the receiving team during container deliveries to ensure ERP transactions are completed
- Support the inventory cycle count and physical inventory process on a daily basis
- Assist materials department with other critical tasks as assigned by materials manager
SKILLS PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of inventory methods and procedures.
- Proficient with or able to quickly learn how to operate within an ERP system (Syteline)
- Able to accurately count material quantities and maintain accurate records
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and to multitask
- Able to collaborate with other team members to ensure all job requirements are met daily
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, hardworking, and dependable
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Willing to take on additional tasks as assigned
- Able to adjust weekly work schedule as required

TRAINING TO BE PROVIDED:
Attend any mandatory company training that is deemed necessary for this position.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Typically: Monday – Friday
Hours: 8 hours per day (5-day work week)
Breaks: 2- 15 minutes
Lunch: 30 minutes
